Choosing to study at a Malaysia college before continuing to university will save you a lot of money. Tuition fees for Malaysia college are a lot lower, giving you peace of mind as you work for your degree. Aside from that, many Malaysia colleges offer degree-level study and even top-up degrees, often with lower tuition fees than many universities.
Some university is very competitive at the freshman admissions level, but not as competitive at the transfer admissions level. Meaning, to get into a university, a prospective freshman must compete with thousands of other students. However, if a student applies as a transfer student the chances of getting into a university might be better; this is because many universities have agreements or partnerships with colleges that allow college graduates to be automatically admitted into the university program of their choice assuming the student meets all other admission requirements (such as a satisfactory grade point average and having certain coursework completed).

Kolej Sunway Kuching is the first and the only institution of higher learning in East Malaysia to be awarded the Approved Learning Partner – Student Tuition, the PLATINUM status. RCSI & UCD Malaysia Campus (RUMC) started its journey as Malaysia’s first accredited private medical institution in 1996. You are guaranteed an offer of University accommodation for your Foundation Year, or first year (undergraduate) at our campus in Malaysia, which will help you settle into University life. You are welcome to apply to remain in University accommodation for your second year while you are studying in Malaysia but we cannot guarantee a place.
You are also guaranteed an offer of University accommodation for both years spent studying in Southampton. Please note you will need to fulfil the criteria of our guarantee, which includes applying as a continuing student, in January of your second year in Malaysia for your first year living in Southampton. Our accommodation guarantee does not extend to family accommodation, but if you are coming to the University to study as part of a couple or family, we can still offer you support in finding accommodation in Southampton and we may be able to offer you university owned accommodation.
All applicants to the University of Southampton Malaysia will be eligible for scholarships. These are based on academic excellence and achievement and are open to both Malaysian and international applicants. All scholarships are bond-free.

NUMed Malaysia aims to deliver a cost-effective medical programme of the highest quality to meet the needs of both our students and the regional health economy. Newcastle University’s Malaysian campus is situated in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, in Iskandar Malaysia.
NUMed has its own managed student accommodation which is truly multinational, multi-ethnic and multicultural.
The new accommodation is just a 5-minute drive from the campus, with free, regular transport provided. We provide transport not only between the accommodation and the campus, but also between the accommodation and the nearby facilities, including eateries, shopping centres, entertainment outlets and other recreational attractions.

The campus is part of EduCity in Iskandar Puteri (formerly known as Nusajaya). It is 1km east of the Gelang Patah Interchange on the main Linkedua Expressway.
The Second Crossing Bridge to Singapore is only 8km from the campus, and the city of Johor Bahru is a near neighbour.
One of the largest developments in the Iskandar Development Region, Iskandar Puteri is planned to be an integrated city providing a world-class environment for business, living and leisure.
Invited by the Ministry of Higher Education to establish a branch campus for engineering within the EduCity development in Iskandar, Johor, Malaysia. Malaysia Campus opened in October 2012 and offers premier undergraduate degrees in engineering. In 2016, our first group of Malaysia Campus students graduated with excellent results – they obtained 10 First Class and eight Upper Second Class MEng degrees.
You are guaranteed an offer of University accommodation for your Foundation Year, or first year (undergraduate) at our campus in Malaysia, which will help you settle into University life. You are welcome to apply to remain in University accommodation for your second year while you are studying in Malaysia but we cannot guarantee a place.
You are also guaranteed an offer of University accommodation for both years spent studying in Southampton. Please note you will need to fulfil the criteria of our guarantee, which includes applying as a continuing student, in January of your second year in Malaysia for your first year living in Southampton. Our accommodation guarantee does not extend to family accommodation, but if you are coming to the University to study as part of a couple or family, we can still offer you support in finding accommodation in Southampton and we may be able to offer you university owned accommodation.
All applicants to the University of Southampton Malaysia will be eligible for scholarships. These are based on academic excellence and achievement and are open to both Malaysian and international applicants. All scholarships are bond-free.

The Malaysia Campus is located in the state of Johor near the southwestern tip of Malaysia, about four hours’ drive south of Malaysia’s capital city, Kuala Lumpur. Johor’s total population is about 3.4 million.
Our campus is located within EduCity in Iskandar Puteri, a new city in Johor and forms part of a pioneering multi-varsity education hub located in Iskandar Puteri, comprising universities and institutes of higher education, academia-industry action and R&D centres, as well as student accommodation, shared sports and recreational facilities.
The University of Reading has a rich heritage dating back over 150 years and in 2016, celebrate our 90th anniversary as a university in our own right. The University of Reading Malaysia’s state of the art campus in EduCity (Iskandar Puteri, Johor, Malaysia) opened its doors in September 2015. All programmes are accredited by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) in the UK and the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).
The University of Reading Malaysia (UoRM) works with EduCity Student Village and Core Home Management, to provide comfortable and convenient accommodation for all students.
If you choose to study at the University of Reading Malaysia, you will be given priority for accommodation at the EduCity Student Village.
We offer generous scholarships, bursaries and fee discounts for students who are keen to study at the University of Reading Malaysia. Students will only be eligible to apply for the scholarships, bursaries and fee discounts described if they are a registered student of the University of Reading Malaysia (UoRM) and paying fees directly to UoRM. Students that are registered as a University of Reading (UoR) student and are applying to transfer to UoRM for discrete elements of their overall UoR programme of study are not eligible.
