OVERVIEW

YEAR FOUNDED 

IMPERIA was founded in 1995 by a group of professional estate agents to offer training and human resource development courses to the general public. It was also approved by the Selangor State Education Department for Certificate Courses under the name of “Centre for Continuing Development and Further Education” in October 1996.

KEY FACTS

• Imperia’s Diploma in Estate Management is the first private diploma fully accredited by the Boards of Valuers, Appraisers and Estate Agents Malaysia (BOVAEP) since 2009. Graduates of the diploma are eligible to register as Probationary Estate Agents, as they are fully exempted from taking the BOVAEA’s written exam i.e Diploma in Estate Agency.
• Imperia’s scores another FIRST in the Malaysia academic history to have her private degree programme – the UK franchised BSc (Hons) Real Estate Management & Development 3+0, fully accredited by BOVAEP on 21st Nov 2014. Graduates of this degree are eligible to register not only as Probationary Estate Agent, but as a Probationary Valuer too.
• Imperia’s second UK franchised degree programme, BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying & Cost Management 3+0 has also been accredited by Board of Quantity Surveyors, Malaysia (BQSM), Malaysian Qualification Authority (MQA) and Ministry of Higher Education (MoE) in January 2013. This enables the graduates to be eligible for registration as Registered Graduate Quantity Surveyor with BQSM upon graduation.
