What is a Top-up degree?
Top-up degree is equivalent to the final year of a bachelor’s degree. It enable students to develop their knowledge, skills and understanding of a particular topic while also receiving an internationally-recognised undergraduate degree qualification.
Many students also choose to their academic journey and study a master’s degree after their top-up year.
How long does it take to complete?
The indicative study duration of a Top-up degree at most British Universities with at least 12 months of full-time study.
How much does it cost?
Fees range from GBP10,000 to GBP12,500, depends on which university that you enrolled to.
What are the entry requirements?
In order to start a Top-up degree course, you must have completed one of the following:
• a relevant Malaysian Diploma course from a recognised institution; or
• two years of a relevant BA (Hons) degree from a recognised institution; or
• a relevant Higher National Diploma (HND) from a recognised institution.
• English ability should be equivalent to IELTS 6.0 / SPM 1119 English with Credit at least or other equivalent level
